Close the damn door.

So there I was. Naked in front of 20 people.

Let me rewind.

I was at Yellowstone Park in San Francisco where giants called trees roam the lands.
After feeling like a dwarf, I decided to head to the bathroom. Now, when I say bathroom, I mean a small cabin with a hole full of crap. Literally. After ferociously holding my pee in, it was my turn. I got in the "bathroom" and closed the door. There was no lock.
But I thought that since there was a line outside, no one would enter. Oh silly me.
When I squatted, a huge "SLAM" welcomed me to my nightmare. An oriental women on her mid 30's had opened the door. No, not a bit. She opened the whole. Damn. Thing. So there I was. Naked in front of 20 people. Now, you have to understand that my immediate reaction was: *%$&# , CIERRA LA *&%#$&# PUERTA. After I received no reaction whatsoever from her, I yelled this time more calmly: Please close the damn door. No reaction. So like a true Dominican, I pushed her outside and slammed the door shut. So now, I had to go out and face everyone who saw me naked, because of a woman who apparently apart from being deaf, was also blind and skipped the whole line.
I walked out as if nothing had happened. Yeah... well they didn't do a good job with that, because all eyes were on me. Yay.

Am I indecisive?

My whole life, I have been indecisive. It is frustrating for the people around me, but it also is for me. Not knowing what you want. And if I do, I question it and put myself in doubt.
Sometimes, it gets really ridiculous. For example, the other day I was with a couple of friends, and they asked me if I had liked the movie we had just watched. I just stood there staring at nothing, thinking about it. Had I liked it? There are pro's and con's, but was it pleasing? But then I figured out, that this is what I do. I over analyze things that just aren't meant to be thought in depth
Some of you must be thinking that this can come in handy. But it doesn't really seem so when you have lasted 45 min (literally) in a shop, holding two pairs of shoes, not knowing which to pick. And sure, this may help sometimes while at school.
But if you ask the cafeteria lady, she will beg to differ.

In a hell hole called Minecraft

I suddenly woke up. I was in a field.  A cubic field. It may sound crazy, but everything is literally, a cube. Even me. No, I'm not a giant square, but my body parts are squared shaped. All I know is that I woke next to a squared journal with a squared pen and a squared titled that said Steve. Just like my name. So I put it in my squared pocket and walked into my squared adventure. I wondered if this was just a dream, and if it wasn't, which satanic creature put me in here? Why me? After getting chased by skeleton riding spiders, (yes, you read right) I decided that I couldn't do this anymore. I felt like I was in a messed up prank. I jumped off a cliff into water.... I survived. How? I don't know. It was as tall as any New York building. So I went to the cliff again, but this time I jumped towards land. When I hit the ground, it all went black. Suddenly I appeared in the exact same spot I woke up on earlier. This was madness. I was forced to spend the whole eternity stuck in this hell hole. The next few months I spend my days mining and crafting. It was all I did. All alone, with only squared animals to accompany me. I decided to call the place where I was, Minecraft. Because you mine, and you craft. Its all you do, besides punching trees to collect wood. Normal, right? Now, I am in the mansion I created. But I have no one to share it with. I am all alone. In Minecraft.

Adam and Eve or Adam and Steve?

Recently I heard that gay marriage was legalized in California. Many people find it a negative situation. That it should be Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. Well, I believe that if they have a different sexual orientation, it's not our decision if it's right or wrong or if they should or not. After some thinking I came to the next conclusion.  People don't like different. They are scared of different. And so we live in a world where everyone is trying to fit in when they should stand out. And when someone tries to be different, the herd pulls them back in. So I salute you gay community, for not only with all insults and sometimes even your own family's negative feedback, you do your best to stand tall and proud.
And thats what life is all about.

Paradise is everywhere

Sometimes you just want to disappear. Vanish and appear on paradise. The hot sand squirming through your toes. The warm breeze caressing your skin along with the occasional wave refreshing your feet.
But you can't go there. You're stuck in the cruel reality that is life. Or so I thought.
This year, as I sat in my dead silent balcony and stared at the paralyzing night lights I learned something. Paradise is everywhere. You just have to find it. You just have to make it.

Summer, Oh, Summer.

Summer is here. I imagine myself going to parties, the beach. But instead Im here, writing on a blog that nobody reads. Procrastinating all day, all night. Its just never is how you expect it to be. And the worst thing is that you dont know who your classmates are going to be. So you just sit there, thinking the worst, all summer. Three months. Luckily im flying to New Zealand. But meanwhile? Meh. And so you go to Facebook and change your status to "Enjoying summer!" in your dark room with your pajamas and Doritos. But I guess we just have to make the best of it. Like most things in life.
You can set goals. Like learning to play the piano or practice soccer.
But lets be honest. 5 min after you've set them, you'll forget about them and just watch all seasons of glee for the next 3 months.
And even if you do go to the beach, you'll come out like a tomato.  Ive learned that it dosent matter how much sunscreen you apply, you'll still get burned. And since this happens, my mom puts so much sunscreen on me, I end up looking like a newborn. My brothers can agree on this.

Imagination is amazing

As she put on her comfy silk pajamas, she brushed her teeth with some "colgate"toothpaste. She felt weak and tired. She climbed on bed smoothly, using the covers as grip. She tucked herself in, turned the lights off and she was ready for her brain to carry her into an adventure. As time passed she slept like a baby with her favorite teddy bear. But something... something woke her up. She took a glance at the clock. 12 sharp. She tried to go back to sleep, but couldn't  She started to sweat and feel uncomfortable. Like if someone was staring deep through her soul. She imagined. A girl, a monster ready to eat her, or that guy from saw ready to strike at her. She felt a lump in her throat. She wanted to scream, but was too afraid to. Suddenly, she heard something dropping on her carpet. An axe? hammer? gun? She cleaned up her sweaty face with her even more sweaty palm. She took a deep breath and took a glimpse at the hopefully empty room. She saw something she never expected.
Her dog. It was her dog. Her sweat drops started to disappear as she stood up to take the dog outside  Imagination is amazing.
